He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; his sisters, Edith and Thelma (Lloyd); and his parents, John Cole (Jack) and Mollie.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Palmer (George), Dianne Klingenberg (John), Barbara Hood (Clarence) and Philip Cole (Carol); his grandchildren, Geoff, James, Melissa, Paul, Kate, Robert, Andrea, Chantelle, Alison and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Aydin, Kiara, Aubrey, Janika, Abijah, Adalia, Micah, Reece, Brian, Bailey, Nolan, Ben, Colleen, Vinson, Genevieve, Heideliese, Isaac, Noah, Billie and Mila. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
