She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Milton McIver; her parents, John Stanley Post and Gertrude Imogene Post (Nettleton); her children, Sandra McIver, Sharon Smith (Bob), John McIver (Nancy), Julie Byers (Mark), Ric McIver (Christine), Rob McIver (Deb) and Dawn Brokers (Paul); her grandchildren, Matt (Gina), Kim (Gord), Jenn (Jason), Lisa, Nathan (Jemmarie), Justin (Kelly), Bradley, Laurel (Petr), Tiar, Colemann, Mikel, Katie (Pat), Ben (Eleni), Hillary (Jarrett) and Craig (Alexandria); her great grandchildren, Mateo, Myles, Samantha, Sydney, Oliver, Jessica, Alec, Justin, Leon, Cadence, Mason, Audrey, Quinn, Zander, Benjamin, Slade, Ronin and Harper; and her great great grandchild Freyja.
