With solemn reverence, we commemorate Barbara Jean Mortimer (Woodstock, Ontario), born in Ingersoll, Ontario, whose life came to an end on September 9, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Morris Mortimer (Mort); her son Stephen; her siblings, Grace McCafferty, Verna Wardell and Bill Elliott; and her parents, John Elliott and Margaret Elliott.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Doherty (Jamie), Greg Mortimer (Sylvia) and Jacqui Denstedt (Steve); and her grandchildren, Anne Doherty-Fewster (Tim), David Doherty (Kayla), Charlie Mortimer (Agatha), Sammy Mortimer, Sara Denstedt, Lauren Denstedt, Emily, Caeden, Liam and Avalynn.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (175 Springbank Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S7R2).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Barb's name to the Alzheimer's Society of Oxford County, Maison McCulloch Hospice, or to an Out of the Cold Program in your area.
