She was predeceased by: her significant other Albert; her parents, Jacobus Verhoef and Margaret Verhoef; her brother Jim Verhoef; and her siblings-in-law, Wiebe Horinga, Alphonsus Versaevel and Sally Horinga.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Hutchison (Doug) and Eric De Boer (Lisa); her grandchildren, Nickolaus and Ashleigh; her sister Helen; and her parents-in-law, Audrey, Ken Howard and Carol Verhoef. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews.
She followed the COVID guidelines and managed to keep herself safe, only to suffer from a short illness a short time before she would have been able to be vaccinated and go back out into the world.
