She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cornell and Dorothy Elizabeth Cornell (Kennedy) of Lyn Ontario; and her brother George. She is survived by: her husband David Forsyth; her daughters, Sarah Jane "Sass" Bergen (John) and Laura "Lolo" Elizabeth Lyn Forsyth; her grandchildren, Briana Ashlyn Levi, Mairi Jean and Dorothy Piper Elizabeth; and her sisters, Lynda and Shirley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
