Rose Marie Santagato Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2024, at the age of 101, Rose Marie Santagato of Woodbridge, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rose Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Domenico Papalia and Domenica Papalia of Calabria; and her son Ronald (Gina Fraccaro). She is survived by: her children, Richard (Donna Burns), Donna (Eddy Battiston), Susan Savedra (Ian Lovatt) and Carol (Kim Davies). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, an adored aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, ON L4L1S6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
