He was predeceased by: his parents, Giosue Dametto and Norma Dametto; and his siblings, Bruno (Iolanda) and Lidia Cattapan (Olivo). He is survived by: his wife Adriana; his children, David (Stephanie) and Sonia Brushett (Kevin); his grandchildren, Brooke, Joshua, Kristin, Nolan and Lauren; his siblings, Silvano Dametto (Elvi), Maria Soligo (Danilo) and Simone Dametto (Luciana); and his brothers-in-law, John Bot (Janet) and Rick Bot (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Woodbridge Chapel (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, ON L4L1S6). A Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave, Woodbridge, ON L4L1X4).
