She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Van Stempvoort; her parents, Ralph Brink and Mary Brink (Hagelskamp); her sister Kathryn Van Drunen (Peter); her sisters-in-law, Edith Brink and Geri Van Stempvoort; and her children, Randy Van Stempvoort (Alice), Mark Van Stempvoort, Dale Van Stempvoort (Herma), Sharon Hartholt (Ron), Janice Van Bolhuis (Ed) and Jeff Van Stemp (Yvonne). She was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
