He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lorne, Laura, Betty and Bruce; and his parents, Alice Ray and Colin Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, Terry (Terry Lynn) and Stewart; his grandchildren, Colin (Rebekah), David (Rebekka), Cara and Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Mackenzie, Theodore and Harry.
