He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Brintnell and Hilda Brintnell; his siblings, Fred Brintnell and Mary Luella Brintnell; his parents-in-law, Eldon and Alva Heywood; and his brother-in-law William Heywood.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Brintnell (Heywood) of Wingham; his children, Kim Brintnell of Guelph, Darlene, Allan Gaudet of Nova Scotia, Jo-Ann and Tony Van Hout of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Tami, Ryan Fillier, Nicole, Jeff Towriss, Andrew, Trista Brintnell, Chris, Ashley Foulon, Jenna, Mark Kasubeck, Nick, Karley Foulon, Kyle, Julie Foulon, Brennan and Jacquelyne Van Hout; and his siblings, Marie (Bob Socket), Ed (Lee Brintnell), Eleanor (Cy Blommaert), Lester (Dianne Heywood) and Joan (Dave Goddard).

Visitation will take place at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p. m. You do not have to register to attend but please wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br.180 or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
