She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Thornton and Mary Thornton (McInnes); her sister Evelyn Thornton; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Baker, Nora (John Currell) and Walter Whitehead.
She is survived by: her spouse Glenn Whitehead; her grandchildren, Alana, Macie and Darah; and her siblings, Helen (Gary Edge), Don (Tena Thornton), Allan Thornton, Mae Hutchison (Glen Gallaher), Dianne Krotz and Murray Thornton. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower, memorial donations to Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
