With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Wharton of Wingham, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on March 13, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Tom Wharton; her children, Dennis, Linda Wharton, Richard, Trudy Wharton, Patricia Wharton, Robert and Leah Wharton; and her grandchildren, Jeff, Steve, Scott, Christine, Kendra, Jason, Susan, Greg and Kim.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McBurney Funeral Home Chapel (35 Patrick St W, Wingham, ON N0G2W0). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham Salvation Army would be appreciated.
