She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Brooks; her parents, Annie Culbert (Fitzgerald) and James Culbert; her daughter Janice Remington; her son-in-law Don Savage; and her siblings, Gerald Culbert, Beatrice Will and Jean Teeft.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Savage of Kincardine, Don, Lynn Brooks of Lucknow, Kathy and Jim Dickson of Kincardine; and her grandchildren, Travis Remington (Melissa), Cailyn Norris (Chris), Meagan Chammoun (Nick), Brad Savage (Julie), Blair Savage (Ashley), Alexa McQuillen (Jeremy), Tyler Brooks (Sarah), Dani Lindsay (Luke), Brendan Dickson (Paisley), Ashley Dickson (Mike), Mitch Dickson, Josh Johnston (Robin) and Lindsay Needham (Jason). She is also survived by her 22 great-grandchildren.
