He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Pat Newson (Gillespie); his children, Mitchell Newson and Macpherson "Max" Newson; his father Robert Newson; his siblings, Luann Sunohara, David, Nancy Newson and Laurel; his parents-in-law, George and Vera Gillespie; his siblings-in-law, Liza and Dan Sweeney; his aunts and uncles, Shirley, Sandy Hucul, Carol, Richard Byers and Doug McDowell; his nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Karyn, Kristen, Kevin, Matthew, Michelle, Danielle, Madeleine, Olivia, Charlotte, Nolan, Ethan, Caitlin and Caroline; his mother Doreen Newson; his niece Ashley Newson; and his aunts and uncles, Larry Newson, Betty McDowell, Merilyn Stevenson, Bill and Penny Kerwin. He was also cherished by his many friends, coworkers.
