Pearl Hodgins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Hodgins of Wingham, Ontario, who passed away on September 22, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbert Hodgins; her parents, George King and Eva King; her siblings, Willex (Maxine King), Mae (Ray Myatt), Mildred and Stewart Couch (Art Ward); and her parents-in-law, Fredrick and Florence Hodgins.
She is survived by: her children, Larry, Verna Hodgins of Wingham, Lanna, Ron Abbott of Brantford and Pearl; her grandchildren, Debbie Hodgins (Green), Gavin Hodgins (Debra), Shamus Abbott (Joe Devoe), Brit Abbott (Jamie) and Jeff Storey (Angie); her great grandchildren, Shaelin, Shelby, Spencer Green, Hannah, Jackson Hodgins, Alana Woods, Simon, Landry Read, Eliotte Brouillard, Lola, Bowie Abbott and Payton Storey; and her siblings, Wilma and Cecil Sutton of Ripley. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other family members and close friends.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 10:30 a. m. until 12:30 p. m. Those wishing to attend do not need to register, but please wear a mask and respect physical distancing.
Her faith and family were her foundation.
