She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendrik Zyta and Gertie Zyta; her daughter Bonnie Blake; and her siblings, Dirk, Adriaan Zyta and Greta Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Jim MacLean of Wingham; her children, Barry Blake (Shannon) of Elliot Lake and Laurie Blake (Rick) of Woodstock; her grandchildren, Kyra, Braxton and Carter Blake; and her siblings, John Zyta of Atwood, Levina, Bob Yule of Listowel and Aggie Orth of Listowel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
