He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Buchanan (Elliott); and his daughter-in-law Claire Buchanan. He is survived by: his children, Karen Buchanan of Teeswater and David Buchanan of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Candice, Ryan Higgins, Bryan Miller, Stephanie Brown, Kaitlyn, Derek Robinson, Kyle, Jasmine Andricopoulos, Jadyn and Holton Buchanan; his great grandchildren, Liam, Austin, Nolan, Preston, Sawyer, Ellaina and Emillia; and his siblings, Wayne and Sue Buchanan. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and friends.
