He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Steffler and Annie Steffler; his brother Louie Steffler; and his brother-in-law John Doherty. He is survived by: his spouse Verna Steffler of Wingham; his children, Vern Steffler, Beata Kus of Wingham, Brian Steffler, Kim Smith of Wingham and Bev Steffler of London; his grandchildren, Chad Steffler, Mel Hedley, Austin Steffler, Cassidy Steffler, Sam Smith and Lexie Smith; his siblings, Anne Doherty of Goderich, Clem, Phyllis Steffler of Airdrie, AB, Joe and Lin Steffler of Seaforth; and his siblings-in-law, Helen MacDonald of Chesley Lake and Mike MacDonald of Chesley Lake.
