He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gillespie and Mary "May" Gillespie (Hagan). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gillespie (Longley); his children, Brett, Pam Gillespie of Stratford, Scott and Shannon Gillespie of Wingham; his grandchildren, Kamden, Parker, Isabel and Olivia; and his sister Hilary Gillespie.
