She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Armstrong and Verda Armstrong (Procter); and her sister Mary Alice Smits. She is survived by: her brother-in-law Harold Smits of Wingham; her nieces and nephews, Peter, Monica Smits of Wingham, Paul, Linda Smits of Whitechurch, Mary and Greg Crawford of Wingham; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Carlin, Clay, Chase and Emma; her pet Snoopy; and also Kinslee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
