It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harley Gaunt of Wingham, Ontario, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gaunt and Agnes Gaunt (Coultes); his former wife Joyce Gaunt; his daughter Karin Gaunt; his siblings, George, Jim Gaunt and Jean Ross; and his parents-in-law, Vic and Lois Card.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Gaunt; his children, Erin Gaunt, Jason Brewer, Ashley and Matt Smith; his grandsons, Landon Brewer (Bella), Wesley and Lucas Smith; and his nephews, Bill, Tracy Gaunt (Jana) and Bruce Angel (Brenda Thompson).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wingham Fire Hall (369 Josephine St, Wingham, ON N0G2W0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huronview Resident's Council or the Wingham Firefighter's Association (cheques only) would be appreciated and may be done through McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
