He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dixon and Madeline Dixon; his siblings, Richard Dixon (Sylvia) and Maxine Powers (Jack); his siblings-in-law, Verna Dixon, Danny Charlebois and Roger Warman; and his parents-in-law, Peter and Audrie Vath.

He is survived by: his wife Maribeth Dixon (Vath); his children, Peter Dixon, Matthew and Cindy Dixon; his grandchildren, Emma and Thomas Dixon; his special buddy Spencer Bourne; and his siblings, Frances (Eric Koslowski), Roy (Heather Dixon), Roger Dixon, Joe Dixon (Dianne Aziz), Theresa Charlebois, Dennis (Marion Vath), Anne Warman, Adele (Dan Nolan), John Vath, Jane Vath and Lisa (Randy Robertson). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and his extended family and friends.
