He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Daer and Dorothy Daer; his brother Lorne Daer; his parents-in-law, Charlie Johnston and Win Johnston; and his siblings-in-law, Don Craig and Evelyn Daer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Terry of Elmvale and Tricia of London; his grandchildren, Josh and Alexis; his siblings, Isabel Campbell (Peter) of Wingham, Ross Daer of Auburn, Ken Daer (Janice) of Clinton and Laura Lawrence (Fred) of Stratford; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Craig of Blyth and June Daer of Kitchener. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
