He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Stokes and Margretta Stokes; his brothers, Ronnie and Dave Stokes; and his brother-in-law Kirk Vanstone.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lauretta Vanstone of Wingham, Maryann of Wingham and Bill Stacey of Wingham. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 180, Wingham would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
