She was predeceased by: her father Lee Rintoul. She is survived by: her husband John Smuck; her children, Garet and Ryan Smuck; her mother Lila Rintoul; her siblings, Carol, Stephen MacPherson and Kim Higgins; her parents-in-law, Joan, John Miller, Larry Smuck and Ruby Kurt; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Smuck, Julie and Steve Keelan. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and by her many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation for the Mental Health Inpatient Services would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
