It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Hickey of Wingham, Ontario, who passed away on February 12, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Doug Harkness; her son Darryl Hickey; her parents, Herbert Foxton and Myrtle Foxton (Holloway); her siblings, Ron (Teresa), Ted (Shirley), Ken (Edna), Doug, Bruce (Grace), Bud (Evelyn), Bob Foxton and Jo-Ann Rintoul (Gord); and her brothers-in-law, Gary Mair and Ivan Harkness.
She is survived by: her children, Darin Hickey, Dwayne and Rhonda Hickey; her grandchildren, Lauren, Jordan Sutherland, Tasha, Dallas Coultes, Alannah Hickey and Sam Ireland; her siblings, Dianne and Don Cameron; and her pet Doug.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McBurney Funeral Home Chapel (35 Patrick St W, Wingham, ON N0G2W0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 180 would be appreciated by the family.
