He was predeceased by: his parents, Franjo Matic and Marija Matic; his siblings, Milan Matic, Katica Filipcic and Marko Matic; and his cousin Zorka Despenic (Stjepan).
He is survived by: his spouse Dragica; his children, Ivan Matic (Chau Minh Tu), Frank Matic (Chantal) and Tina McMullen (Brad); and his cousins, Danica Kalic (late Pave) and Vinko Paulic (Jelena). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund.
