We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Vera Hickey (Windsor, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ron; and her brother Stanley. She is survived by: her sons, Mike (Jodie) and Jeff (Monica); her grandchildren, Samantha (Craig) and Lauren; her great grandchild Remi; her sister Anne (Cripps); and her friend Jutta.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor of would be appreciated by the family.

“My deepest sympathy to all of you as you go through this most difficult loss. I first met Vera at Fabricland and we clicked right away since we both had been sewing for most of our lives. She was always so helpful in sharing her ideas, tips and patterns and showing me the latest new arrivals she was sure I would love. She introduced me to Sho Studios and I did a show there with her and met her friends there. I was truly saddened by the news that she had passed away and will never forget her”
