She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bruno; her children, Freddy and Kathy Galipeau (Ron); her grandchildren, Sara Kopecky (Ethan), Marc and Sadie; her mother Helen Cooke; and her siblings-in-law, Gerhard (late Gerda), Maria Trittler (late Willy), Freida Schwengsbier (late Otto), Erich Bormann (Mary) and Hilda Dewaal (late Abraham). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon's honour, may be made to SickKids Hospital.
