He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Trofin and Olga Trofin; and his brother-in-law Jim Bertrand. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Todd Beecroft (Samantha) and Tiffany (Dan Moncion); his siblings, Jim (Connie) and Judy Barr (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Gail and Pat Hunt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund are appreciated.
