He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Brianna; his parents, Vincenzo Taranto and Angela Taranto; and his siblings, Vito Taranto (Diana) and Rosa Catanzario (late Vito).
He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Vincent Taranto (Sue), Vicki Crispo (Tony) and Bobbi-Lynn Valente (Gabe); his grandchildren, Robert, Sam Taranto, Kaylee Lett, Samantha, Marissa Crispo, Matteo and Gabriella Valente; and his siblings, Guiseppe Taranto (Angela), Maria Faraci (late Isidoro), Sara Vitale (late Guiseppe) and Nancy Olivito (late Sam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
