He was predeceased by: his significant other Elizabeth Jeffrey; his parents, Walter Bruce and Violet Bruce; and his siblings, Harold, Clifford, Walter, Jeannie and Margaret.
He is survived by: his brother Ken Bruce; his stepdaughter Gloria Mierkalns; his stepgrandsons, Wayne and Bob Harrison; and his pet Dollar.
