It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reta Kurek (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lappan and Edna Lappan; her siblings, Helen Dufault (Paul), Alvin "Buster" (Mildred), Norman "Babe" (Cora "Teeny"), Laurent "Peter" (Rose), Clarence, Eleanore Desjardins (Charlie), Maurice (Barbara), Clifford "Pepper" (Lucy), Doris Jacques (Omer), Germaine Miller (Wilfred), Don (Denise), William "Bill" (Lil) and Blanche McDonnell (Michael); her parents-in-law, Stanley and Rose Kurek; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Kurek, Edward Kurek, Juliana Kurek and Paul Kurek (Lorri).
She is survived by: her husband Bernard Kurek; her children, Kim Barnes, Sherry Barnes (late Bob), Jason Kurek and Jarrod Kurek; her sisters, Geraldine Rock (late Del) and Noella Hayes (late Jack); and her siblings-in-law, James Kurek (Karen), Mary-Theresa Rose (Ken), Stanley Kurek (Nancy) and Philip Kurek (Joyce).
