She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Hurst and Evelyn Hurst. She is survived by: her husband Robert Bolton; her children, Brandon Battersby (Amy) and Jamie Battersby (Lina); her grandchildren, Blake and Lyla Battersby; and her siblings, Dr. Randall Hurst (Sharon), Michael Hurst (Debbie), Lisa Archer (Keith Archer), Rod Hurst (Lisa), Cathy Rankine (Gary) and Dr. Jody Hurst (Sheldon Lewis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
