He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Bushey and Myrtle Bushey; and his siblings, Sharron, Dennis, David and Dean.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene LeClair; his brother Richard (Sharon); and his pets, Princess and Star. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, friends.
