Though Maria may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo; her grandson Louis (Mary Lou); and her siblings, Albina Zanier, Elsa Truant, Ricardo and Luigi Scodellaro.
She is survived by: her son Larry (Karen); her grandchildren, Andrea (Caroline), Natalie (Skylar), Jacob and David (Julia); and her niece Lia (Nino). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
