She was predeceased by: her siblings, Markos, Georgios, Irini, Dimitrios, Evdokia, Kleanthis, Antonios and Achileas; and her siblings-in-law, Vasiliki Florogoulas (Nikolaos), Christos Pontikis (Maria), Eleni Yiatrakou (Georgios) and Pericles Pontikis (Anastasia).

She is survived by: her spouse Athanasios Pontikis (Thanasi); her sister Calliope Boucas (Evangelos); her children, Helen Niforos (Peter), Nick Pontikis (Lori) and Angela Champ (Tom); her grandchildren, Nancy Semenski (Bill), Maria Pontikis (Austin), Eleni Pontikis, Niki Pontikis, Melina Pontikis, Niko Niforos and Sophie Champ; and her great grandchildren, Kieran, Christian, Anthea, Emmeline and Jaxson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

With a unique blood type, she also donated blood several times per year, supporting the Canadian Blood Services and helping countless people.
