It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madeleine Marie (Prieur) Caputo (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Prieur and Eva Prieur; her husbands, Frank Caputo and Patrick McNeil; her sons, Patrick McNeil Jr. and Brian McNeil; her granddaughter Lena Ann Upham; her great great grandchild Brienna Lena Upham; and her siblings, Geraldine Forestell, Harold Prieur, Rose Marie Bechard, Edward Prieur, Donald Prieur and Elizabeth Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Upham (Louis), Florence Whalen, Barbara St. John (Neil), Danny McNeil (Debbie), MaryAnn McNeil (Barry Clark), Raymond McNeil (Ellen), Debbie McNeil Boyd, Madeleine Godin (Ron) and Janice Pidskalny; her sister Mae Clifford; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Prieur, Joseph McNeil and Annie May Dragicevich (McNeil). She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Madeleine to MS Canada, Canadian Diabetes Association Windsor and District Branch, Spinal Muscular Atrophy or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
