She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon "Nipper"; her parents, Hilda Dunlop and Chester Dunlop; and her siblings, Jean (Richard), Wentworth (Fran), Bert (Joyce) and Orville (Ruth-Ann).

She is survived by: her children, Ellen Simkins (David McCluskey) and Bruce Simkins (Marianne).
