In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jovo had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jovo may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Stana; his children, Dragoljub (Zeljana) and Tatjana Samardzija (Davor); his grandchildren, Emilija Djuric (Jovan), Stefan, Nemanja and Milos; his great grandchild Luka; and his close friend Milan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Families First (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A prayer was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 7:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church (1960 Meldrum Rd, Windsor, ON N8W4E2).
