Joseph Norman Lucier Obituary
Passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024 at 94 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of Giselle for 42 years. Loving father of Mary-Ann (the late Verne), Shirley, Joseph (Valerie), Jerome (Terri) and the late Joan. He will be dearly missed by his 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Anna Lucier. Survived by brothers Alfred (Donna), Leo (Dorothy) and Ernest (Jeannette). Predeceased by siblings Hector (Dolores), Albert (the late Pauline), Lawrence (Patricia), Donald (Marlana) and Janette (Leonard).
Joseph was always entrepreneur extraordinaire. His many business ventures included Lucier Estates, Underground Specialties in Oldcastle, Sarnia, London and Cambridge, Wildwood Golf and RV Resort in Essex, Acali Place Marina, ABC Child Care in London, Windsor and Sarnia, as well as many years as an Insurance Broker. Joe encouraged and included young entrepreneurs and family members in the many businesses generously sharing the fruits of everyone's labours. Joseph was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Council # 2844 since 1959 and was a Charter Member of the Father Louis Boue Assembly # 2355 4th Degree Council chartered on July 30, 1994.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday June 5th, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841 On Thursday June 6th, 2024 family and friends are requested to meet at St Clements Parish at 9567 Walker Road, McGregor for the funeral mass at 11:00am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, 5005 Howard Avenue, Windsor in the St. Francis Mausoleum.
