He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Michael Whalen (Lori), Moira Getty (Dean), Donalda Turner (Bryon) and Jim MacDonnell (Lucy); his grandchildren, Brittany, Raylene, Christopher, Karen, Emma, Klara and Monika; his great grandchildren, Malcolm, Jack and Luke; and his brother Lennie MacDonnell (Brenda).
