With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Joseph Sanko (Windsor, Ontario), whose life came to an end on February 25, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Mary; and his siblings, Ron, Shirley and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, Ron (Stephanie), Jay (Natalie) and Tanya (Pete); and his siblings, Rosalie and Jimmy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1M3).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VON Windsor or Golden Rescue (an animal foundation close to our family's hearts).
