He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hromi and Mary Hromi; his in-laws, Emil and Albina Boron; his sister Margaret; and his siblings-in-law, Peter, Vera, Carol Boron, Steven and Margaret Vrabel.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; and his sons, Robert and Joseph (Michele). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
