He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Charbonneau and Margaret Charbonneau; and his sister Marie Colautti (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his children, Jason Pettypiece (Lisa), Barb Ots (Kirk), Christine Lesperance (Jason) and Therese Vander Doelen (Shaun); and his siblings, Anne Hewton (Murray), Yvonne Fortin (Real), Jackie Charbonneau (Bruce Plante) and Joe Charbonneau (Carmen).
