He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude and James; and his son John (late Jann). He is survived by: his children, Ruth Abernethy (Rick) and Scott McLauchlan (Cindy Taylor); and his grandchildren, Laura and Ryan McLauchlan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
