He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Duchene and Alphonse Duchene; and his siblings, Alphonse (Nancy), Reinette, Virginia Benedet and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann; his children, Michael (Nancy Hannon), Denise (Johann Burger), Diane (Jim Westenberg) and Karen (Steve Zsargo); his grandchildren, Emily, Alysha, Shane, Katie, Melina, Alex and Philip; his great grandchild Sloane; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Benedet, Judy Duchene, Connie, Ed Bastien and Tom Joy (late Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
