He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Jones and Sarah Jones; and his brother Ron (Mary Rose). He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Chris (Helen), Keith (Laurie), Brian (Julie), Tim (Kim) and Terry (Sheila); his grandchildren, Ashley (Eric), Ryan (Melissa), TJ (Meg), Christopher (Jenn), Lucas, Brayden, Morgan, Hayley, Melina, Evie and Elise; his great grandchildren, Hazel, Matthew, Jeremy, James, Kelly, Peyton, Penelope, Levi, Isabella and McKenzie; and his siblings, Doris Robak (late Frank), Ken (Freda), Patricia Colwell (Tom), Alvin (Florence), Richard (Marylin), Larry (Linda) and John (Tracey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Families First (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County or the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County would be appreciated.
