He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Shuter (Henoch) and Jean Shuter (Sheindl); his siblings, Sheila Mendelsohn (Milton) and Albert Shuter; and his brothers-in-law, George Rusnak and Kenneth Cantor.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Shuter (Cantor); his children, Suzanne Guttman (Hilly), Jeff Shuter (Louise), Howard Shuter (Hilda), Stephen Bernstein (Edit) and Robert Peter Bernstein (Linda); his grandchildren, Simone, Emet, Aviva Guttman, James, Daniel, Charles Shuter-Ford, Sarah, Melanie, Jack Bernstein, Shawn and Matthew Klein; his sister Yola Rusnak; and his siblings-in-law, Maxwell Cantor and Carol Cantor.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Rachel Kaplan Hebrew Memorial Chapel (675 Aylmer Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1T9).
