She is survived by: her children, Sameer Akel, Peter Ackle (Nabiha "Nina" Hayek) and Edward Akel (Laura Haley); her son-in-law Jeff Boughner; and her siblings, Takla, Khalil, Yevounne and Samira. She is also survived by many nephews, neices, cousins family and friends.
